Dear Presidents of the National Soil Science Societies,

On  behalf of IUSS Division 4 and concerning the 21st World Congress of Soil Science to be held in Brazil (Rio de Janeiro, 12-17 August 2018), I have the pleasure to present the different symposia proposed by IUSS Division 4 on the large, important and original subject of:

"Human Dimensions of Soil Relation: soil cultural sessions"

As soil scientists, we need to develop more interactions with all parts of society and not only between soil scientists if we are to save the world’s soils. We need to learn from society itself. This is the reason for the thematics developed by these symposium on behalf of Division 4.

Could you, please, inform your national soil community about these symposia and encourage it to participate with numerous contributions?
